After nearly three years in the making, we are proud to present our first full-length video: MADE IN CHICAGO This video was filmed solely in Chicago and its greater surrounding area, with no clips captured outside of this geographic range. Like most major cities, there exists a spot book of the must-hit classics when passing through. Yet far beyond the granite ledges of our downtown, an unseen side of Chicago skateboarding beats quietly within the outskirts. Harsh winters and comparatively limited infrastructure demand a certain level of intentionality to make the most of skateboarding here. Persistently building spots despite continued opposition, pressing decks in a basement, or scraping together rent money for a month-to-month indoor. To be a skateboarder in Chicago means to build it yourself. MADE IN CHICAGO is a celebration of this philosophy, showcasing our world and the crew that keeps it spinning. We sincerely hope this video offers a holistic view of what life is like as a skateboarder here, and that you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.
