From Furnace's "About" section of their website (2025): Founded on July 1st of 1996 in Cypress, CA out of the need to cultivate a very small but rapidly growing underground skateboarding community in the greater Orange County and Long Beach areas, Furnace continues to serve as a good home for raw skateboarding. Built on a labor of love over passion for profits, our main mission has only become stronger to preserve and sustain what we feel is real skateboarding.
