Thunder skateboard trucks are known as the lightest and strongest trucks on the market. To make the trucks as light as possible, the lightest materials are used and all unnecessary weight is removed from the trucks. This results in a better pop and an even more direct response of your skateboard. Thunder has not always been a company that was at the forefront of technical developments. The company started in 1986 in a basement in Santa Cruz, California. At that time, Thunder trucks were nothing more than Independent trucks with punk graphics on them. It wasn't until the trucks became more popular that they started designing their own trucks and having them made. The trucks still come from the same factory as Indies.
