He turned pro at just 17 and quickly made a name for himself with powerful, committed video parts. In 2010, Romero was named Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year. Romero has released several acclaimed video parts and appeared on the covers of "Thrasher", "The Skateboard Mag", and "Skateboarder".
