Hometown: (Suburbs of) Boston, Massachusetts, USA Stance: Regular Tim Anderson is a skateboarder and videomaker from the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area, though he moved to Long Island, New York in the late 90s. He is well known for his video series "Bobshirt" in which he interviews skateboarders (largely from the 'VHS Era', early 90s-early 2000s), presenting them with paraphernalia like that rider's skateboards, videos, magazine ads, etc. In 2013, Tim and his wife Sarah formed the charity "Deckaid", which supports youth community organizations by setting up fundraising events at temporary skateboarding art exhibitions they install across the United States. Deckaid's mission as is described on their website [2025]: Deckaid is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) retrospective skateboard art exhibition that showcases collector archives in celebration of skateboarding's influential history. Our exhibits raise awareness and funds for youth-centered community organizations. [Thank you to the "Beyond Borders" podcast for their interview with Tim Anderson.
