"Dying to Live," is the third full-length Zero video. According to TransWorld Skateboarding Magazine, filming took a massive toll on the crew, spanning 920 days and capturing over 253 mini-DV tapes worth of footage. The video involves a range of skaters, including Ryan Smith, Chris Cole, and John Rattray, each facing unique struggles and triumphs. The production saw injuries, intense travel, personal challenges, and the departure of some team members, while new ones, like Jon Allie, joined the crew. Despite facing physical setbacks, the skaters pushed through with the help of Zero's team spirit, including Jamie Thomas’s demanding leadership.
The video stands out for its raw, diverse skating—pool sessions, street tricks, and memorable spots captured in intense, candid moments. Jamie Thomas’ vision as a director and Lee Dupont's support as a filmer played pivotal roles in crafting a visually striking, high-energy video that became a milestone for Zero and skateboarding culture.
