Jamie Thomas is an American professional skateboarder and entrepreneur born on October 11, 1974, in Florida. He grew up primarily in Dothan, Alabama, while also spending part of his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he began skateboarding at age eleven. In 1992, Thomas moved to San Francisco to pursue a professional career, enduring homelessness and hardship while skating the legendary Embarcadero scene. He rode for Experience, Invisible, and Toy Machine, where he directed Welcome to Hell, one of the most influential skate videos of the 1990s. He also became known for his memorable "Leap of Faith" attempt. In 1996, Thomas founded Zero Skateboards, which grew into one of skateboarding's most recognizable brands. He later launched Fallen Footwear in 2003 and Garage Days Collection, expanding his influence beyond professional skateboarding and establishing himself as one of the industry's most successful entrepreneurs.
