Color Skateboards was a short-lived skateboard company founded in the early 1990s by professional skateboarders Mark Oblow, Kris Markovich, and Josh Friedberg. The company emerged as a creative collaboration between the trio, with Markovich contributing both as a skater and artist. Color was influenced by the rising tensions and differences within the skateboarding industry, notably with Markovich's past issues at World Industries. The brand produced a skate video called "Color" in 1993, featuring talented riders like Caine Gayle, Kyle Yanagimoto, and Jeremy Wray. However, due to internal conflicts, including financial disputes with Metiver (who owned the name), Color eventually dissolved. Despite its brief existence, Color laid the foundation for the creation of Prime, a new company formed as a result of the team's split from World Industries.
