"Epicly Later'd" is a skateboarding documentary series created by filmmaker and photographer Patrick O'Dell. It began as a photo blog in the early 2000s before becoming a series on Vice's VBS platform around 2004 and was later adapted for Viceland. Combining interviews with archival skate footage, the series documents the lives and careers of professional skateboarders. Episodes have featured Jason Dill, Billy Rohan, Dustin Dollin, John Cardiel, Alex Olson, Ali Boulala, Heath Kirchart, and Brian Anderson. Inspired by the storytelling of Big Brother magazine, Epicly Later'd explores addiction, injuries, identity, friendship, and life beyond professional skateboarding while preserving skateboarding history through archival footage.
