Brad Cromer is a professional skateboarder from Jupiter, Florida, a small town on the state’s East Coast. Raised in a quiet, wooded neighborhood near the beach, Cromer began skating alone in his driveway, building ramps from materials in his garage. With limited access to skate videos and no significant local skate scene, he was largely self-taught and influenced by pros such as Andrew Reynolds, PJ Ladd, and Mark Gonzales.
He gained early recognition through steady footage output and eventually joined Krooked Skateboards, where he spent approximately seven years as an amateur before turning professional. Cromer also worked in skate shops and on boats during that period, supporting himself while continuing to focus on skating. He later joined HUF, becoming one of the original members of its skate team and releasing a signature shoe through the brand.
Cromer has filmed several well-received video parts, including lo-fi (2012), a self-directed project showcasing his skating and creative vision. He has also traveled internationally for skateboarding, including a notable trip to Turkey for a HUF clothing campaign. Cromer lived in Los Angeles and New York before returning to Miami in 2021, where he continues to skate and film, often collaborating with younger skaters and local filmmakers.
In addition to skateboarding, Cromer collects and resells vintage clothing and practices activities like biking, meditation, and swimming. His influences include shoegaze music and skateboarders such as Andrew Reynolds, Rodney Mullen, and Elissa Steamer. Cromer remains active in skateboarding, focusing on video projects and local involvement in Florida’s skate scene.
