Fabian Alomar is an American professional skateboarder from Echo Park, Los Angeles, who emerged in the early 1990s skateboarding scene. He turned professional by 1996 after riding for Vans, Menace Skateboards, Spitfire Wheels, and XLarge, where he connected with fellow skateboarder Mark Gonzales. Around 1998, Alomar became involved with drugs and criminal activity, leading to convictions for carjacking, kidnapping, and robbery, and later a 2013 arrest that nearly resulted in a third-strike life sentence. Support from the skateboarding community, including Stevie Williams and Nick Tershay, helped reduce his sentence, allowing him to rebuild his life and career.
