Dilo’s passion for skateboarding began at a young age, as he spent countless hours at his local skatepark, Abacoa, perfecting his craft. His dedication and creativity quickly gained him recognition, particularly for his ability to blend technical skating with imaginative concepts in his video parts. Inspired by local skaters like Zion Wright, Dilo decided to move to California in 2012, accompanied by his close friend, Jamie Foy. Once in California, Dilo settled in Long Beach, where his career took off. He first garnered attention through his flow sponsorship with Cliché and later earned boards from Baker. In 2019, he joined Almost Skateboards. His career continued to flourish as he earned major sponsorships from brands like Almost, Baker, Lakai, Adidas, and Venture. As of 2025, Dilo rides for Jacuzzi Unlimited Skateboards and is sponsored by well-known brands such as Høurs, Spitfire, Shake Junt, Venture, and 561 Skateboarding. Despite moving on from larger companies, Dilo remains committed to supporting smaller, skater-owned brands. Known for his artistic side, including his love for drawing and tiger-inspired art shared on Instagram, Dilo continues to influence the skateboarding scene with his mix of street, manual, and creative skating.
